History

The Renault Dauphine, is presented in March 1956 with a spectacular simultaneously in most European countries. The project 109 that gives rise to the Dauphine, it started in 1951 and was the continuation and improvement of Renault 4 CV from which it inherits its solution "all back." Featuring a really nice line, and Ousset Barthaud by collaboration with the Italian coachbuilder Ghia, derived from its big brother the Fregate, and provides greater capacity and better comfort than his "father" the four-four. The saga of the engines back in 1962 would be continued by his successor, the Renault 8 .

Renault 4 "semicopa" CONCEPT CAR: "I was in high school and started running through my veins worm classic. I bought the magazine every month and I loved watching Autofoto preparations "sport pack" of minis. He dreamed of having a mini in the future, but meanwhile, I used to plan how would my beloved Renault 4.

The Renault JP4 as you can see, derives from a Renault 4. This rare car was not manufactured in France as expected, but it was manufactured in Britain by Car-System.

In Spain it is not uncommon, though I have proof that there is at least a couple of them in the north, and several of the islands. Many of them had engaged in rental vehicles, and unfortunately, some have ended up in scrap yards such as this unit of Tenerife.


To produce the JP4 is part of a normal r4, who disassembled the body and the chassis was cut to 27 cm above the floor in the rear.
